On 13th November we celebrated Children in Need. The children and staff came dressed in lots of different colours or Pudsey related outfits. We spent the day discussing what we could do to help children who are in need, the preschool children suggested giving them some of their toys or some of their dinner. We also made some Pudsey sticky pictures and raised lots of money for the charity.
On the 12th November we focused on Diwali. The children enjoyed making some Diwali pictures, creating fans from paper and decorating using lots of different resources.
During October the children enjoyed a “Autumn Café” in their role play area. The children enjoys exploring resources such as acorns, conkers, pumpkins and took part in many different activities.
On the build up to Halloween we changed the role play area into a “wizards and witches’ workshop” where the children were able to make potions, experiment with new textures and resources and use their imagination alongside their peers.
Today was out Halloween party at nursery, the children and staff came dressed up in lots of different outfits! We had lots of fun playing with pumpkins, getting messy and making some crafty Halloween spiders!!
