World Book Day
We will be dressing up as our favourite characters! Baby room are having a teddy bears picnic!
Pancake Day
The children enjoyed many different activities for valentine’s day, From banana playdough flipping to kitchen role play. All the children loved exploring the different ingredients, making their own pancake mix and being chef’s!
We also had pancakes for tea, made by our chef.
Valentines Day
We celebrated valentines day by wearing red! And taking part in lots of different activities. The babies enjoyed exploring different chocolates, strawberries and cream. Feeling and tasting.
The preschool made their own perfumes for their parents, mixing resources together and sharing.
Sports Day
We held a sports day for the children, everyone got dressed up in their sports gear and took part in lots of physical activities.
Postman Visit
During January our topic was learning about people who help us. The children learnt about many different occupations around us, from the local shop keeper to police and ambulance.
The children enjoyed a visit from a postman! He spoke with the children about what he does, brought many different resources with him that he uses on a daily basis and allowed the children to explore these, let the children dress in his work clothing and completed “You missed your delivery” cards with the children.
All the children enjoyed their visit and this sparked many conversations, role play and activities later in the week.
